Big LAB
Innovation never stops. Our Big LAB continuously explores new materials, constructions, and sustainable inks — testing, refining, and reimagining what’s possible.
Every creative idea finds its own way, guided by imagination, collaboration, and craft.
We help turn early ideas into a clear overall concept and visualise what the final result could become. You’re always welcome to visit one of our studios, where we can explore materials and possibilities together.
Through renderings we help creatives refine their vision before production begins.
You’ll have a dedicated project manager by your side, coordinating everything from research and safety certifications to permits, subcontractors, and sustainability advice.
We help you manage complex projects from order to delivery, with tailored systems and logistics that work across international borders. Behind it all is our custom platform, Big Image Flow.
In BIG LAB, we help you explore and refine ideas before taking them into full-scale production. This gives us the freedom to develop materials and approaches around the needs of each project.
With the support of AI and traditional methods, we can create artwork from scratch, develop or adapt your artwork, enhance existing visuals, or prepare images for large-scale production. A craft we’re at the forefront of.
With custom-trained AI Image Models, we create tailored solutions for advanced visual workflows, supporting projects across retail and product imagery as well as film, television and large-scale visual production.
Through tailor-made digital tools and apps, we build systems that simplify complex processes related to orders, production, or deliveries.
Our high-resolution scanning transforms artworks into digital artworks, ready to be preserved or reimagined into new creative expressions.
From antique carpets to vintage posters, digital capture ensures accurate reproduction for archival documentation, film use, and creative projects.
We can refine and enhance your imagery with careful attention to detail, bringing out the best in each visual.
We refine the result through test prints and colour matching, using prototypes where needed to make sure everything is right before production begins.
From soft textiles and recycled fabrics to hard materials and specialty foils. We can print on nearly anything, including our signature cotton images up to approximately 12×50 metres.
Our craftspeople handle everything from hems and tunnels to advanced shaping, hidden eyelets, and complex fabric solutions.
We handle precision cutting, contour cutting, and custom production tailored to your project’s exact requirements.
We build custom aluminum structures in our workshop, shaping and finishing each construction to suit the project, with acoustics or lighting integrated where needed.
We design custom lighting to suit the space, from classic lightboxes to dynamic, programmable solutions. Each design can be adapted in shape and temperature, with control through Casambi, Plejd or your preferred system.
For short-term installations or touring events, we offer rental of lightboxes, inflatable décor, screens, and projection equipment.
Home to the largest 3D printer in the Nordics, we produce large-scale objects with a wide range of filaments and finishing options.
After printing, test installation can be carried out before delivery. For productions ordered with BeMatrix, we offer full-scale test installation.
We produce custom constructions and props in our workshop, working across a broad range of materials and combining hands-on craftsmanship with machine-based production.
We work with large-scale LED setups and projection mapping, adding interactive elements to turn surfaces into moving visual displays. With a long background in scenography and printing, we combine physical materials with digital layers to create immersive environments.
We can provide detailed sewing and construction drawings, coordination with subcontractors, and easy-to-follow video guides for a seamless setup.
Each delivery is packed and tracked with precision — using image-based packing slips, GPS tracking when needed, and sustainable packaging designed for reuse and reduced impact.
Our project managers and installation leaders can support you on location throughout installation, with extended or 24/7 availability arranged when required. We can also document the finished result with photography and film.
We can support you once the project comes down, from dismantling and transport to finding ways for materials to be reused whenever possible.
Every Big Image project is designed, produced, and finished in our own studios — ensuring quality, control, and responsibility at every step.
