What does it take to build a world? Let’s start in pink. You may already have seen PUSS PUSS 97 - the larger-than-life pink car taking the stage on Zara Larsson’s Midnight Sun Tour. Working from the stage designer’s vision, our Stockholm studio created the artwork and brought the physical scenography to life through printing, building, crafting and finishing - all under one roof and down to the smallest detail. Over the coming chapters, we’ll take you closer to the making, the scale and the craftsmanship behind the world on stage. For now, we begin in pink. For Don Quichotte ...

The story of a reign, brought into the room. Every exhibition presents its own scenographic challenge. For The Queen's Royal Wardrobe at Drottningholm Court Theatre, it was to allow the garments to be experienced without compromising the visitor experience. In our Stockholm studio, Big Image transformed the palace windows with monumental premium printed portraits of Her Majesty Queen Silvia. Alongside the portraits, we developed and built custom aluminium constructions, covered with an almost invisible mesh that quietly blends into the space. The exhibition is currently on view at Drottningholm Court Theatre until July 26. A quiet choreography of pattern and light. For the opening of Myklé Heritage in Oslo, Big Image transformed the brand's signature scarf patterns into scenographic elements throughout the space.
